Off to National Park

Off we go to National Park (Taman Negara) last weekend with my officemate. 9 of us off to Kuala Tahan as early as 7 a.m. Stop for refueling at Genting Sempah PETRONAS and another stop at Temerloh R&R for breakfast.

We're full!

We take exit 819 Temerloh and finding our way to Jerantut. From there, we find our way to Kuala Tahan to take boat to Nusa Camp. 5 hours of journey from LRT melati to Kuala Tahan, we reaching there by 12.30 noon. Killing our time with non-sense talk, we take boat to Nusa Camp at 1.30 p.m. My stomach growling.

We order our lunch and marching our butt to chalet. Take a nap because our activities start at 4.00 p.m. with "rapid shooting". Rapid shooting basically consist of journey cruising Sungai Pahang with light boat while main2 air and simbah2 air dekat another boat. Since we in quite big group, we had been divided by 2 boat. We race to get to hulu sungai and hell, we're all wet by the end of the activity. After rapid shooting, we sambung mandi2 at small stream nearby our chalet. more non-sense talk and laughing along the way. we really laugh our heart out and man, all the tension gone.

BBQ!

At night, we have our BBQ session. For the activities, we plan to play Truth or Dare. After 2 person do the dare, nobody really want to do the dare anymore so all of us going for the truth. Shocking confessions all around. start with laughter and we ended up with serious discussion about our future. Of course it's not about work! At the end of the day, we're full and entertaining.

Next day, woke up at 7 cause we will have our jungle trekking to Abai Waterfall at 9.00 a.m. it's gonna be 1 and half hour walking through jungle before reaching there. Talking about jungle trekking, lots of pacat will accompany us. After the hard walking, we finally reach Abai Waterfall by 11. It's damn cold! Going back at 12.00 noon. Reaching chalet by 1.30 p.m. and cleaning ourself and ready to check out.

After Lunch

After having our lunch at 2.30 p.m., we take our boat back to Kuala Tahan at 3.30 p.m. Reaching KL by 9 p.m. after dinner stop at Genting Sempah. All in all, it's a good trip and enjoyable vacation which cost us RM 250 per person including food. It's a good experience and we wish to continue this kind of vacation to fill our time. i must say it's a good start.
