My treasure

yo ho, pirates life for me.

ok, enough with POTC 3's fever. i been spending my fortune to buy few treasures. Well, i just love all of them, adding value to my life. I always want a cozy life, a happy life and i found out that you should start taking small details into account. Starting small doesn't make you end up small. Life is about changes, aite?

So, first treasure is set of furniture consist of wooden bed with mattress, a wooden wardrobe, unfurnished bed side table. All of treasures obtained from IKEA, exotic wooden furniture. As i mentioned before, i just love wood so much thus no way i could choose steel frame. classic innit?

1st Treasure

My bed. no bed head, just like in hotel. I love my bed, mattress dia keras ok, sedap gile tido.

My wardrobe. Simple yet fulfills my need. Bed side table also there.

2nd Treasure

Sony Walkman MP3 Player NW-S703F. An mp3 player for daily dosage of my "soul". Equipped with noise canceling thus make any noise almost none to your ears. The sound really make you feel excited, really crispy to your ears. I want the black color but i only managed to obtain gold color. Good enough and i'm satisfied.

3rd Treasure

My old spectacle totally senget. So, i change to new spectacle, plastic frame. A touch of classic, me likey.

And this is my horny new look with new spectacle. YNWA! (Propaganda Reds)

4th Treasure

At last i managed to get my Reds jersey. I love green and white jersey which they use for CL. I got 2 colors, yellow and white/green from Rantau Panjang. Yurp, yang ori mahal gile ok. YNWA!

(Why suddenly i sense some jealous aura?)

5th Treasure

My new perfume. This time, i'm not choosing CK. I so in love with Burberry Summer perfume. I think summer perfume just suite me well. It's much stronger than CK One Summer that i have but much sweeter. Bargain at Sogo for RM 198 for 100 ml. Envy me please. :P

6th Treasure

Manhattan new shirts bargained for RM 100 for 3 pieces. I choose lighter color (i know light colors will make me look fatter) cause all my shirt are dark colors. Tukar angin sikit. This is the beauty of sale. Cheaper price for branded items. Good way of spending money. Innit?
7th Treasure

My newly Converse bagpack. My last bagpack was like 3 years old and gone through blistering sun, cold creepy night weather and watching me going to classes and skip classes in UTP. Good bye old bagpack. I choose brown color, a bright one also. My new year resolution: obtained more brighter colors item.
8th Treasure

Salt lamp. It's good for your health and it's exotic for home deco. I buy it quite cheap. Towards healthy livestyle (kunun-kunun la), this is amongst my little step. Also, to add some exotic home deco to this boring house. hahaha.

At last, i manage to post this entry after very very long due. None of my intention to show off or something along that line, i just want to share my happiness with all my friends and a little bit of update bout myself (and not to mention my promise to update this blog). Enjoy and should you have any question on where to obtain any of items in here, please let me know k. Me willing to help.

Next items on quest: Redang Island's Vacation. Let's go for some holiday, mate. Happy hols for UTPians.

'Cause it's J-Doramas

Yeah, cause it's J-Do and i love it so much. entertainment for me every now and then. Ok, let's go with new JDo review that i already finished watching. Enjoy the review.

Karei naru Ichizoku (The Grand Tribe)

What is worst than arranged marriage? Arranged marriage for the sake of business. that's the worst. Conflict between Manpyo Daisuke (the father) and Manpyo Teppei (the eldest son) happened when everything in mess. Daisuke want to hold Hanshin Bank to survive financial restructuring while Teppei need support from his father to develop his steel factory. An idealist meet an opportunist battle which see everything go from bad to worse. Of all tragedies, it's end with tragedy. Life is either comedy or tragedy. A complicated drama, with touch in financial and economics world. Human tragedy, economy tragedy, love tragedy, this dorama truely about tragedy. Takuya Kimura in it, a good reason to watch for few people. as for me, the tragedy make me interested.

Episodes: 10
Rating: 10/10

Jyoou No Kyoushitsu - The Queen's Classroom

Another tragedic dorama. About a bunch of primary school student go against their teacher. But their teacher is a demon. A demon who induced common sense about reality and actually could tackle any fight/obstacle come her way. Yes, an undefeated demon. A very powerful demon. She love to use punishment and assess students based on grade. A very decieving dorama if you not finished this dorama till the very end. I love this dorama cause it makes you view your world differently. Even the very core idea is about understanding the world itself but you may differ your opinion if that's what you really want. A brainwashing material but still giving you space for your own thought if you not letting yourself to suffocated by its tragedies.

Episodes: 11 + 2 SP
Rating: 9/10

There's another 3 dorama that i currently downloading, the dorama are:

Busu no Hitomi ni Koishiteru - a handsome guy in love with ugly girl.

Unfair - an i'm-over-the-rules cop with divorce problem solving serial homicide. watch it once but stucked due to no subtitle. now subtitle available.

Haken no Hinkaku - story about temp worker. a super temp worker.

I can't wait to watch them all especially Unfair and Haken No Hinkaku, 2 of most awaiting dorama by me. Btw, i already burn and delete most of JDo, it's already in my DVD. and i need more DVD to burn my movie. hahaha. Money to buy DVD, 100 pieces of them, here we go.

p/s: i know that few guys from UTP actually read this review and download those doramas cause i found a DVD folder own by a recently graduated friend contains most of doramas that i review at my blog. I feel appreciated to share my interest and i will keep posting my review for UTPians to download new jdo. And of course, all of my friends, you're more than welcome to download it (just ask from me to make a copy if you interested to watch it).

Casa Idaman

Seingat aku, masa aku form 5, aku pernah buat satu karangan bertajuk "My Dream House". ok, it's lame tapi aku suka tajuk tu. cukuplah karangan BM kena perah kepala otak nak carik ayat terbaik dan tatabahasa tahap bombastik gile babi tonyok pening nyer la so karangan english rileks2 sudah. Seingat aku sepanjang aku bersekolah (not included university time), aku pernah tulis pasal my dream house/rumah idaman aku ni sebanyak 2 kali. kali pertama ketika aku kurang lebih darjah 5. masa tu, rumah idaman aku adalah sebuah rumah papan tepi sawah dekat dgn kaki bukit. betapa la sentimental dan kampungnya rasa diri aku. tapi bila aku tulis balik masa aku form 5, everything change. aku terasa ada kelainan aku menulis, mungkin perspektif aku terhadap dunia dah berbeza masa tu. so, apa sebenarnya rumah idaman yang aku inginkan?

aku selalu inginkan rumah either atas bukit atau tepi sungai. hahaha. aku mmg sentimental dan most of the time, mental. aku cerita pasal rumah tepi sungai sebab aku suka sangat rumah tepi sungai.

rumah aku mesti duk tepi sungai. bukan sungai macam sungai pahang tu tapi anak sungai, ala2 stream je. dari segi landskap nyer, rumah aku ni ada pintu gerbang masuk yang gunakan 2 pokok yang diikat hujungnya supaya jadi arch. rumah aku jauh sikit dari sungai, kurang lebih 50 meter dari sungai. jalan menuju ke rumah aku dari pintu gerbang ditanam dgn pokok mempisang ditepi2 jalan tu. pokok mempisang ni spesis pokok yang tinggi dan tidak berbunga jadi sangat lawa utk jadi peneduh jalan menuju ke rumah aku. part rumah pulak, basically rumah aku adalah rumah kayu ala2 rumah lama jepun. rumah dia tak tinggi macam rumah melayu tapi tak jugak atas tanah macam rumah teres. kiranya lantai rumah terangkat dalam sekaki dari tanah.

rumah aku mempunyai 4 beranda mengikut arah mata angin. utk bahagian utara, aku nak buat taman jepun dgn kolam betul2 mengadap beranda utara tu. area beranda utara ni aku nak jadikan tempat rekreasi keluarga, tempat berkumpul dan berborak. suasana santai dgn wood or rattan furniture. beranda barat dijadikan tempat solat. sesuai dengan arah matahari terbenam dan arah kiblat, bahagian utara sangat sesuai dijadikan surau. beranda ni akan jadi beranda utk aktiviti keagamaan. beranda timur pulak aku nak jadikan kawasan mini library. kiranya tempat utk menimba ilmu dan perbincangan ilmiah dan juga diskusi pelajaran anak2. untuk beranda selatan pulak, aku teringin nak buat ruang dedikasi untuk ruang kerja. segala problem berkenaan business akan dibawa kepada area berkenaan untuk dibincangkan (bagi lah aku berangan jadi business man yang kaya raya..hahah).

bilik pulak akan terisi antara ruang antara beranda, lebih privacy. utk ruang makan, aku suka meja yang simple (kayu semestinya) dgn kerusi ala2 kerusi sponge berframe (ala2 kerusi kat lecturer office kat utp) kayu. selesa nak duduk, tak sakit punggung nak duduk makan lama2. untuk ruang tamu, a normal couch will do. di bahagian luar rumah pulak ada one 3 on 3 basketball court and camping side.

ok..enough la aku rasa, tapi begitulah sedikit sebanyak apa yang ada dalam kepala aku untuk rumah impian aku. entah bila la aku dapat rasa duduk rumah macam yang aku bayangkan ni.anyway, it's nice to have this kind of house. :)

Minutes to Midnight

It's in the town. brand new LP discography; Minutes to Midnight. Lots of review view this album as a sign of maturity for LP. This is one hell of experiment album. Lots of mixed up, varying element of Korn, U2, alternative rock, gospel, Pop Shuvit, and pop rock. So, here's my review on Minutes to Midnight:

A so-so album with 2 or 3 songs to bomb. Most of the songs slow paced, with very few serious guitar touch.

Songs:

Wake - 1:42
A "foreward" song. No lyrics, purely music. some guitar touch near to end. an OK song.

Given Up - 3:11
Korn style. start with claps, continuous with guitar touch. A sense of LP style of music. A bit hard song. Most probably will be a hit song. and yes, chester do scream in this song. so LP.

Leave Out All The Rest - 3:31
Still have sense of LP style of music. A bit slow though, nicely put lyrics. Heart broken song. No chester screaming. A bit mellow. Most probably not a hit song in USA, i think.

Bleed It Out - 2:46 - [You Tube Video]
Fast paced song. Pop Shuvit style, using hand claps, repetitive lines. An emo song. I predict this song will be a hit.

Shadow of the Day - 4:51
An alternative rock. No LP style of music at all. Too mellow for LP. if i never heard it from LP, i might think this song from some other alternative group.

What I've Done - 3:28 - [You Tube Video]
LP style of music. Definitely a hit.

Hands Held High - 3:55 - [You Tube Video]
It sound like gospel music meet rap. listen to it if you don't believe me. so not LP. of course, no screaming. people won't believe this song is LP song. a deep song though.

No More Sorrow - 3:43
The start of this song seriously sound like rock kapak song. like mimpi syakilla or something. a bit hard with guitar.

Valentine's Day - 3:18
A confusing song. It's drum sound like indon pop rock but the guitar sound like alternative rock. A mellow song. nearly the end, some heavy touch of guitar.

In Between - 3:18
A very simple song but strong lyrics. Very minimal music. Sound like Switchfoot.

In Pieces - 3:39
A weird song. Sound like reggae but with rock touch. Hahaha. A very confusing song. an interesting ending with some unique guitar touch.

The Little Things Give You Away - 6:25
Weird sound effect. If guitar left strumming alone, it will be much better. A mixed song, bringing all factors of previous songs to this. you can say that this song as a conclusion to LP experiment in this album.

In overall, not my favorite LP album. They still experimenting with new genre of music. A sign of maturity or perhaps a step to move to other genre. we'll see more from LP.
